On March 23rd, not only did Las Vegas Prom Closet celebrate its 10th year in helping local teens receive free dresses for prom, but we also opened the doors to an inaugural event, Operation Prom Closet. This new event is partnered with Downtown Project Kids at our new location, Stitch Factory. We look forward to many years of this event and helping local teens turn the dresses we receive into their prom dreams.
We are thrilled that we have a new home at Stitch Factory this year. It is such a great space for the event and everyone a Stitch Factory was exceptionally accommodating. We can't wait to return next year!
Downtown Project Kids as become a great partner and we are so happy to continue working with them and continuing to hold our annual event Operation Glass Slipper in Downtown Las Vegas.
Our events is not possible without our outstanding volunteers who spend the day with us working hard and keeping a positive attitude throughout the day. With the help of over 80 volunteers we were able to provide 350 dresses to local teens. We hope to see them all back next year!
This year for the first time we are hoping to provide a "catch-up" event with a very limited dress selection in April. If you missed our event and would like information about our "catch-up" please fill out our contact form and we will provide you with more details. Contact Us »
Each year we hold a single annual event, Operation Glass Slipper, where area students can pick out a free gentle used or new formal dress and accessories. Our inventory is supplied by the generous donations from the local community. Unfortunately we are not able to provide dresses outside of Operation Glass Slipper due to operational constraints.
We had some amazing donations this year. We do collect year-round at Humana locations. Thank you again for your donations Las Vegas!!
